Sim, eu redireccionei a página de Monica's Gang Teen para Monica Teen. E posso lhe dizer que estava certo, Victor. Maurício de Sousa, há algum tempo atrás, fez uma viagem pela Europa e, fez promoção a diversos trabalhos dele, incluindo neles Turma da Mônica Jovem. Quando ele ia fazer promoção, uma vez levou um cenário que mostrava a imagem de Mônica jovem e por cima, o logotipo: Monica Teen.

Neste momento a notícia é bastante antiga e demorará muito tempo a ser encontrada, mas irei dar um esforço para lhe mostrar a imagem. Quando eu lhe poder mostrar a imagem, eu lhe mostro, e se, eu estiver certo, pode redireccionar a página para Monica Teen?

E outra coisa: o nome em Inglês tinha sentido se fosse "Teen Monica's Gang", não "Monica's Teen Gang", pois a primeira opção é de acordo com a tradução, me parece.

Olá! Sim, entendo, mas parece-me que "Monica Teen Manga" não é o título, mas sim, querendo dizer "o mangá Monica Teen". Como nos títulos dos murais, está tudo em letras maiúsculas, é assim que entendo.

Mas fui dar mais uma vista de olhos no Mural no site e consegui encontrar a imagem de que lhe falei, que parece ser a mais actual, já com logotipo e tudo. E lembro-me que uma vez, no mural, também encontrei uma imagem pequena com uma capa de Monica Teen, e outras revistas (não me lembro do nome). Aqui está a imagem.

Fishing rod backrest

Hi. I just wanted to ask you: why would you choose to delete potentialy useful information, regardless of how short, in order to satisfy your understanding of wikipedia aesthetics instead of trying to add to it, moving the info somewhere else or inviting people to add to it (stub tag). You could at least let me know that it needs stuff added before just deleting it. Deleting info, any info, should be a last resort for wikipedians. Thanks Lonwolve (talk) 09:45, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Well, duh, yeah, you did not really delete it; it is just not there anymore for someone trying to figure out what a backrest in the context of fishing is. Also, for some reason, you presume that I have something to do with fishing while the truth is that I have not held a fishing rod in my life; I just did not know what a fishing rod backrest is, it was not in wikipedia, and I went ahead and created the page (as well as the "backrest" disambiguation page). So, bottomline is that because of your unfollowed up article deletion wikipedia is right now a bit poorer; my point being that simply deleting an article, that you yourself acknowledge has info of some value, without seeking to somehow reinstate that info is not a very constructive attitude. So, let me break it down for you: I have no problem with adding the info to the main article - in fact I also think it is more appropriate. What I disagree with is your decision to wipe out the info before I had the chance to do it. You could simply add a warning to the article or send me a msg or both. Portuguese-to-English WP article translation deal -- Places in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil

I am proposing a deal in which some Brazil-related articles (primarily places in Rio de Janeiro) can be expanded with text translated from their corresponding articles at the Portuguese Wikipedia. The reason I proposed this deal is that three of the articles I created using text translated from the Portuguese versions of the articles (Line 1 (Rio de Janeiro), Line 2 (Rio de Janeiro), and Edifício São Vito) have been nominated for deletion in the past month. The result of the nominations involved keeping the articles, but some good information was removed from the articles and they were stubified. The articles were stubified because they were low-quality machine translations which no one were willing to clean up. Could you translate the info on the articles' Portuguese counterparts into these English versions?

Another reason I proposed this deal is that Rio de Janeiro is the host city of the 2016 Summer Olympics, and Rio de Janeiro-related articles in the English Wikipedia need to be more detailed before then.

Could you please edit and expand any Brazil-related articles that I create and edit in the future with text translated from the already-existing Portuguese versions of said articles? I had to give you this offer becuase I saw your name on the List of Available Translators. I create the article, you can expand it at a later date, if you have time. Atualização de artigo

Vitor, estive lendo o artigo sobre a Wiki-pt aqui na Wiki-en e vi que vc fez algumas atualizações no tópico do URC. Proponho que vc dê outra atualizada lá, já que ele já foi liberado (desde 31 de agosto) e o texto parou na fase de implementações (demorou pq foi necessário consertar um bug para habilitar o carregamento) e tbém adeque melhor o parágrafo; a frase 'Fair-use images are forbbiden', que começa o parágrafo, já perdeu a razão de ser. PS Quanto à Wiki-pt ser 'crap' e 'mess' podiamos discutir essa sua visão do porque, fiquei interessado.

Na verdade o que mais me incomoda é a qualidade do texto. A maioria esmagadora dos editores da Wikipedia levou bomba em todas as provas de redação. Escrevem mal, estruturam mal os artigos, não tem nenhuma experiencia de como se fazer um verbete. (não que na Wiki-en se escreva muito bem, é o reino dos paragrafos de duas linhas) Mas é cara do Brasil mediano. Portugal não fica atrás, poucos ali tem qualquer contato mais proximo com a escrita diariamente. Saber a lingua é uma coisa, ter capacidade para escrever textos longo é outra. E se acham grandes escritores, profissionais do jornalismo e sábios de enciclopedia. Qto à neutralidade, os artigos de politica são a coisa mais ridicula do mundo. Em busca dela, há verdadeira guerras de pros ou contra qualquer coisa ou qualquer alguém, e a leitura do artigo, no final, fica horrorosa. Ninguém realmente leva a Wikipedia a serio como fonte para bons textos de politica. A Wiki-en neste ponto é superior, os textos são melhor articulados e mais neutros.
